For American Reunion, the director wanted to incorporate images from the original American Pie to bookend the successful franchise. To ensure realistic motion, I filmed numerous polaroids dropping and sliding. Gathering the information from the shoot, I tracked the polaroids and used that data as the base for creating believable animations. Not only was the process fun, but the results quickly and efficiently added realism to the end titles.
